Ford reports that sales of  F-Series pickups, including the all new F-150, rebounded in 2010 over last year (2009) by at least 21 percent.

In fact, according to Ford spokeswoman Anne Marie Gattari , Ford sold more than 500,000 F-150 light-duty trucks, F-250, F-350 and F-450 heavy-duty trucks in 2010. Giving an estimate, that is about 9,800 trucks per week on an annual basis.

Last year was not the best year for truck sales…

Recently, USA Today and PickupTrucks.com performed a horsepower and hauling competition between several top of the line V6 pickup trucks, having them pull cargo and shoot down the drag strip.

The competition was to see who is the toughest truck out there. The winner was, not surprisingly, the 2011 Ford F-150. This new-for-2011 base V6 is more powerful and fuel-efficient than rivals. Its six-speed automatic adds to the new engine's strong points.
