Ford reports that sales of  F-Series pickups, including the all new F-150, rebounded in 2010 over last year (2009) by at least 21 percent.

In fact, according to Ford spokeswoman Anne Marie Gattari , Ford sold more than 500,000 F-150 light-duty trucks, F-250, F-350 and F-450 heavy-duty trucks in 2010. Giving an estimate, that is about 9,800 trucks per week on an annual basis.

Last year was not the best year for truck sales…

The long time best seller Ford Explorer was named TOP SAFETY PICK for 2011 from The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).  The Explorer is a long-time bestseller, earning top ratings in frontal impact tests since 2002 but this is, however, the first time the Explorer has earned an official designation from the U.S. non-profit organization. The Explorer Received top ratings in frontal, side, and rear-impact tests, as well as roof strength tests.
